Year 12 languages

​​​Year 12 students attending community language school (CLS) classes can either:

Examinations are available for:

  • Arabic
  • Chinese
  • Indonesian
  • Korean
  • Latin
  • Modern Greek
  • Polish
  • Punjabi
  • Russian
  • Vietnamese.

Funded CLS can apply to receive additional funding for eligible Year 12 students attending CLS classes who successfully complete the QCAA Senior External Examination for Year 12 language studies.

CLS should complete the QCAA Senior External Exam studen​ts form​ and submit to the DoE by 31 December each year.

QCAA data is used to provide confirmation that Year 12 students named by the CLS in the QCAA Senior External Exam students form have passed the Senior External Exam. Therefore, the ​student names provided must match the official name the student uses in their mainstream school. CLS will only receive additional funding for those students who are able to be verified.
